Foot Reflexology Session $45

Before modern medicine and state of the art hospitals, healing was often sought through methods that are unconventional by today's standards. One of those methods was ear and foot reflexology, or zone therapy. While not officially named as such until the late 1800's and early 1900's, foot reflexology has been around for thousands of years. In the quest for alternative healing methods, many are turning to foot reflexology once again to secure the health and wellbeing that the ancients experienced through its practice.

Ionic Foot Detox $45

A detox foot bath is an option for people interested in removing toxins from their body. Health lovers and scientists claim foods we eat are full of dangerous toxins and chemicals. Pollution and other outside factors also expose our bodies to toxic materials. While oral supplements and even suppositories help detox the body in the long term, a detox foot bath can help in the short term. Foot bathers like seeing and feeling the immediate results of their detoxification. The most popular type of the detox foot bath is the ionic foot bath. It's a simple system that uses electricity to stimulate ionic cleansing.

60 min Couples Massage $180

90 min $95

This is the most commonly offered and best-known type of massage.  If it's you're first time at the spa, Swedish massage is the perfect place to start. During a Swedish massage the therapist uses gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create many health benefits. Feel free to state your preference for pressure during Swedish massage. It can range from light to medium. If you want more intensive work and firmer pressure, get a deep tissue massage.

Pregnancy Massage

30 min $45

60 min $75

Pregnancy massage, also known as pre-natal massage, promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves strained back and leg muscles in expectant mothers. Pregnancy massage is especially benefical in the second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back.  Pregnancy massage provides relaxation by relieving stress on joints. It eases neck and back pain, helps you to keep good posture and relaxes and provides flexibility to birthing muscles. Pregnancy massage aids the circulatory and lymphatic systems, which keeps blood flowing to both the mother and the baby. It stimulates different glands in the body, which help to stabilize hormone levels, and relieves nervous tension throughout the body. And the nurturing touch during pregnancy massage promotes relaxation and provides emotional support. Post-Partum Massage  is also good after giving birth. It can help restore a mother's body to its pre-pregnancy condition. It helps to realign the body weight, and tones the over-stretched skin over the belly. As with all massage, it relieves muscle tension and stress from mothering duties!

Sports Massage $80

Sports massage was designed for athletes, but is useful for anyone with chronic pain, injury or range-of-motion issues. Sports massage was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Sports massage emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons. The therapists oncentrates on a specific problem area. Sports massage is a type of Swedish Massage that stimulates circulation of blood and lymph fluids. Some sports massage movements use trigger point therapy to break down adhesions (knots in the muscles) and increase range of motion. Sport massage can be given during training to allow the athelete to train harder and with less injury. It is also aimed at alleviating pain due to injury and returning the body to health. A sports massage is a good choice if you have a specific problem -- The therapist focuses in on the problem area -- a frozen shoulder or pulled hamstring, for instance -- rather than giving you a thorough full-body massage.

Deep Tissue Massage

60 Minutes $90

30 Minute $55

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions).

Hot Stone Therapy
